White House Previews Obama's Jobs Speech


President Obama
will lay out the multi-billion dollar plan for "The American Jobs Act" tonight when he addresses a joint session of Congress tonight at 7:00 PM ET.

"It's a plan that's fully paid for. It's a plan that's going to put a lot of people back to work. It's going to help businesses start, grow, and expand," Senior Advisor David Plouffe says in this preview video released this morning by the White House.

White House advisors will host a discussion on @WhiteHouse (hashtags #JobsNow and #WHchat) and Facebook.com/Whitehouse immediately following the speech. "Expected panelists" include Stephanie Cutter, Assistant to the President and Deputy Senior Advisor; Brian Deese, Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director, National Economic Council; Roberto Rodriguez, Special Assistant to the President for Education Policy; Portia Wu, Senior Policy Advisor for Mobility and Opportunity Policy.
