The Obama State Dinner Menus: A Recap

Four dazzling menus from the President and First Lady's State Dinners at the White House...and a bonus menu, too...
UPDATE: The State Dinner menu for South Korea IS HERE.
Tonight's State Dinner in honor of President Lee Myung-bak of the Republic of Korea is the fifth that President Obama and First Lady Obama have hosted. All have had a focus on fresh and seasonal menus, and that will continue this evening. Vegetables from Mrs. Obama's most recent Kitchen Garden Fall Harvest event, held on Oct. 5, will be used to create a spectacular culinary experience that is intended to delight the honored guests. Produce from Mrs. Obama's garden--and honey from the White House beehive--have been used for each State Dinner. Below, links to each of the four previous menus, as well as to the menu for the President and First Lady's Return State Dinner in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Winfield House in London in May of 2011.
